The function of the mother liquor evaporation process is to evaporate the water from the aluminate solution (mother liquor) and concentrate and separate the soda ash, sulfate, and most organic compounds accumulated in the mother liquor during the production process. The evaporator has disadvantages such as high operating costs due to scaling and difficulty in cleaning, and the evaporation tubes are prone to being blocked by solid particles.
Regarding the scaling and fouling phenomena occurring during the evaporation process of the evaporator in the mother liquor, conventional chemical and physical cleaning methods yield unsatisfactory results. By adding a certain proportion of liquid scale inhibitor to the mother liquor, the inhibitor can effectively adsorb onto the surface of crystal nuclei, chelate and cause lattice distortion of the crystals. This significantly reduces the surface tension of the evaporating solution, induces coagulation and dispersion, slows down the formation of scale on the tube wall, and chemically loosens the existing scale, facilitating cleaning.
Evaporation scale inhibitor is a new type of large molecular cluster chain integrator, composed of high molecular copolymers and other components, and is a "green" environmentally friendly multi-component scale and corrosion inhibitor with low phosphorus and nitrogen content. It can not only prevent the formation of hard-to-remove scales such as carbonates, sulfates, silicates, and calcium fluoride, but also has a loosening effect on already formed scales. This product can withstand high temperatures up to 300°C, has good biodegradability, is environmentally friendly, and does not produce secondary pollution.
